The inspiration
When I created this collage, I was thinking about Hecate — one of the most ancient and misunderstood goddesses in human history. Hecate is the goddess of the moon, magic, and the crossroads. She carries torches. She guards thresholds. She is the keeper of hidden wisdom and the sovereign of the unseen world.
But what drew me to her was not her power. It was her depth.
Hecate represents the part of every woman that lives below the surface — the intuition that knows before the mind does, the wisdom that accumulates quietly over years of living, the inner world that is rich and vast and almost never shown to anyone.
The owl in the piece is hers. In mythology, the owl is Hecate's companion — the symbol of inner wisdom, of seeing clearly in the dark, of knowing things that cannot be explained.

How it was made
This piece was created entirely by hand using the ancient art of analog collage. Every element was chosen with intention — cut, placed, and assembled by hand before being digitized for print. There are no filters, no AI, no digital manipulation. Just paper, scissors, and the quiet work of putting meaning together piece by piece.
