Para Proteger la Inocencia — To Protect the Innocence — is an original analog collage artwork created by hand by artist Penelope Herrera. The second piece of a two-part series, this work honors the deepest motivation of the feminine warrior — not conquest, not revenge, but the fierce and unconditional protection of what is sacred and innocent.

The leopard moves with her. Gold surrounds them both. The words encircle her like a shield, like a prayer, like a vow.
